Dr. Andrew Mitchell is a lecturer of trombone in the 九色视频 Conservatory of Performing Arts. He is an accomplished orchestral and chamber musician, soloist and clinician, performing throughout the U.S. and Europe.

He is a member of Spectrum Brass, the Canton Symphony Orchestra and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, with performances including The Cleveland Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Grand Rapids Symphony, the Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings, the Brass Band of Battle Creek and the Detroit Opera Orchestra, among others.

Mitchell has appeared as a soloist and clinician at notable events such as the Big 12 Trombone Conference, the Ohio Music Education Association Conference, and the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in the Czech Republic.

He is an artist-in-residence at the Bay View Music Festival and serves as associate professor of trombone at Youngstown State University. His students have won international solo competitions and hold positions in professional orchestras and military bands.
